FUSE Band Bios

Michael Johnson originally from Edmond Oklahoma began playing guitar as a teenager where heavy metal ruled supreme until his professional debut - with a country western band! Huh?? Spending many years performing with avante guard dance bands, Boogie Nights and the M80's, he swears he's never worn spandex. For the past few years he's been the front man for a symphonic rock band and is also a music producer with Dog and Pony Studios. His works can be heard on Skechers commercials, Lakers games, and on the upcoming World Series of Poker reality series, House of Cards.

Candace Martin...grace, charm, talent, killer legs, known for her mastery of genres and the ability to authentically sing nearly any kind of music with brains to boot, (not a natural blonde? go figure!) graduated Cum Laude with a B.S. in Business Administration and a background in music performance and dance. A military brat; born in Jacksonville North Carolina, spent her adolescence galavanting around in Oklahoma and Louisiana. Hey, can you say Laissez les bon temps rouler! Performing in top venues and cabarets around the globe from: London Wembley Arena to The Sydney Entertainment Centre to MGM Grand Garden Arena; Hey.... can you say Laissez les bon temps rouler!!! Check out this Siren of Song, one word HOT!

David Ramirez, a native of Southern California, our very own God of Thunder, is an avid student of all styles of music but has a musical soul which resides in groove oriented rock and funk. Majoring in Music Performance at Fullerton University David also studied show production and design with DCI Hall of Fame: Tom Float. His career has brought him to the stage with many performance groups such as: Los Angeles Lakers House band, Disneyland Trash Can Trio and the Tony Award winning show BLAST along with his own 13-piece funk band PAPPA HIPP TOO.

Steve Flora: Upright bass man, FUSE's newest member hails from Indianapolis, though looks more like some surfer dude from Cali. A cum laude (huh?) graduate from Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music and Berklee College of Music in Boston, he is a hybrid of musical tastiness and groove. Born on All Hallow's Eve though no resemblance to Michael Meyers along with Special Ed's newest edition this is turning out to be our own Halloween sequel. Let's see Stanley Turrentine, Scott Hamilton, Eddie Harris, Joe Lovano, Bobby Blotzer, Pigmeat Jarrett, who hasn't blondie played for. Also likes long walks on the beach & puppies.

A native of Minnesota, Jamie Townsend has seen more action in the music business than one can reasonably recount, and on some mornings wish he hadn't (don't worry my man, it's all on the DL). An educated player on seven instruments with a style that comes straight from the club scene his keyboard chops span surreal euro/dance to virtuoso classical and jazz motifs. Jamie is also a brilliant lead vocalist with an amazing ability to reach impossibly high notes, even for a woman! Hmmm.......

Born in Lawton Oklahoma, Ed Judd an impressive height of 6'4 and a head full of sun-bleached blonde hair makes him a rock & roll army of one! One of those enviable individuals, primarily a sax player discovered early on that the key to success in the competitive music scene is to be versatile. Ed plays keys, guitar, sax, flute, kazoo, slide whislte, train whistle ...not to mention a killer voice, Hey..... maybe that's why he's double booked! Danke Schoen, darling Danke Schoen, oh.... sorry, wrong show. Ed takes the short bus to work with Candace who has the seat assigned across the aisle. Hey are they holding hands? Check him out, totally infectious.
