CHRIS HIATT'S TRIBUTE TO STEVIE RAY VAUGHN came about one night at a party. Someone threw a black hat on Hiatt's head and commented that he looked like Stevie Ray. It got a laugh from the crowd, but the thought lurked in Hiatt's brain....a tribute to a guitarist Hiatt already idolized. After a couple of test shows for nearly rabid Stevie Ray fans, Chris Hiatt took the tribute act on the road. Eight years, three countries, and countless tours later, the act is stronger than ever. After a number of musicians wandered in and out of the band, the line up has remianed solid since the summer of 1998.
Joining Chris on stage is:
Bassist - THE GERM
And Drummer - JOHNNY FLORES
The band travels all over the U.S. and abroad.
Chris Hiatt intends on keeping the spirit of Stevie Ray alive until, according to Hiatt, "It stops being fun."
